AS round two of cycling's 2016/17 Revolution Series comes to Glasgow next Saturday, here's our guide of ones to watch. 

Name: Callum Skinner

Age: 24

Fresh from winning Olympic gold and silver in Rio, Skinner can expect a hero's welcome in his birth city of Glasgow. With fellow Team GB gold medallist and sprint star Philip Hindes also competing next weekend, it should prove a thrilling battle between the duo.

Name: Ed Clancy

Age: 31

Triple Olympic champion Clancy helped JLT Condor to top the Revolution Series standings after round one in Manchester last month. He and team-mate Jon Mould will be looking to grow their lead over nearest rivals Team Wiggins and Team PedalSure in Glasgow.

Name: Lotte Kopecky

Age: 20

Rising Belgian cycling star Lotte Kopecky earned herself some serious TV air time during the Olympic road race in August when she launched an impressive 65km lone breakaway. Kopecky (Voxwomen) is an accomplished track rider with European under-23 titles in the points race and omnium.

Name: Mark Stewart

Age: 21

Dundee-born Stewart will be hoping to take some major scalps as he leads the Scotland Burness Paull challenge. His blossoming palmares includes scratch race gold at the 2015/16 UCI Track Cycling World Cup in New Zealand. He won the inaugural 1878 Cup at Six Day London last October.

Name: Jenny Holl

Age: 17

Blair Drummond-based Holl (Team Jadan) was rarely off the podium in the HOY Future Stars competition in the 2015/16 Revolution Series. Career highlights include British youth criterium and scratch race titles and Madison silver at the 2016 Junior Track Cycling World Championships.
