I enjoyed the range of articles in a recent Sunday Herald. David Pratt’s 15th anniversary piece on the US terrorist attacks provided an excellent insight into the situation we face today (A moment in history – the world after 9/11, News, September 11). The contributions by Hardeep Singh Kohli, Val Burns and Angela Haggerty also appealed (Off to uni and the big wide world but always my wee girl; What’s behind the Tromp family meltdown? Twitter has been curiously quiet about grammar schools, Week in perspective). As a grandparent with young people heading off to university, others at school and as a retired social worker each of the articles resonated with me. Thanks to all concerned.
