What is it?

A portable 360-degree camera that makes shooting typically complicated scenes relatively simple.

Electronic imports are likely to get a bit more expensive in the near future if the predictions of economists prove correct. This will have a knock-on effect for consumers, so it may be wise to spend now rather than pay any price hike later.

Cameras have always been a mainstay of the gadget market, but the rise in virtual reality (VR) and vlogging sophistication are pushing AV products including 360-degree cameras ever more into the public arena and thus demanding bigger prices.

The 360 Cam from LG is one camera bucking this trend offering plenty of features at a reasonable price.

Good points?

The unit is incredibly small and compact allowing the camera to be tucked away in a pocket or bag quite easily.

Duel 13MP wide-angle lenses provide an immersive and high quality picture without added bulk that 360 cameras are known for. The minimalist design lacks buttons but can still be manually controlled with a mobile via Bluetooth.

The 4GB of internal storage is a nice touch and means you can capture low-resolution video out of the box. Adding external storage is a must and the 360 Cam supports SDCards up to 2TB.

Bad points?

The lack of microphone jack will frustrate those who have intentions of conducting broadcast quality interviews.

Best for ...

Regular users of YouTube and any would-be VR pioneers.

Avoid if ...

You're looking for a versatile camera. The 360 Cam would be useless on a drone for instance.
