What is it?

A 50-inch smart TV with all the features you would expect from a high-end device but costing a lot less.

Good points?

I know the top priority of television reviews should be picture quality, but I found the stand adjustability to be as good as any gadgetry-led feature and is something most people will have a practical use for. It means most table sizes are catered for so if you only have a small table surface you can set the stand legs accordingly.

The 4K visual output is more than adequate for most needs and the Mozilla Firefox menu system could prove to be revolutionary in its simplicity and customisation.

All the required apps are available such as Netflix, iPlayer and Amazon Prime. These add to the impressive Freeview Play catch-up service to offer a top notch overall entertainment experience.

Bad points?

Panasonic has bundled together a lot of cool features but sometimes its integration isn't as smooth as perhaps desired. The HDR playback can be a little tricky to get the hang of initially. Full HDR colour range isn't supported which although not a deal breaker is a bit of a let-down.

Best for ...

Those looking for a more intelligent smart TV without the need to sell their granny.

Avoid if ...

You have your heart set on 3D streaming as this unit is purely 4K standard viewing.

Score: 10/10. Excellent value for money.
