This is a super-easy dip that can be made in minutes and tastes so good with tortilla chips, pitta bread or even chunks of bread. The sweet, spicy and salty combination makes it an absolute winner and great for a wee night in with friends.

Ingredients

200g mascarpone cheese

170g feta cheese

2 garlic cloves, minced

1tbsp olive oil

100g runny honey

30g fresh lemon juice

1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

1 tsp chili flakes

1tsp Za’atar

Salt and pepper to taste

Bread, toasted and cut into pieces for serving

Method

Remove the cheeses from the fridge for 30 minutes before starting the recipe.

Place the feta, mascarpone, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl and use an electric whisk to whip for one minute until combined. Transfer to a serving bowl.

Clean and dry the mixing bowl before adding the minced garlic, honey, lemon juice, sesame seeds and chili flakes. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds on high, remove, stir and add in salt and pepper to taste.

Drizzle the honey mix over the whipped feta and mascarpone dip and garnish with the za/tar. Serve with the toasted bread and dunk in.
