The Supervet (C4, 8pm)

The return of the documentary series following the work of Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and his team at their cutting-edge veterinary practice. Their first patient is a young West Highland terrier which has a problem with its paws. Two new bionic feet later, and the poorly pup has a new lease of life. A young husky collie is also brought in after being hit by a car, only for the hip replacement operation to run into trouble, and a lazy dachshund requires double surgery and lots of physiotherapy.

June Brown at 90: A Walford Legend (BBC1, 8.30pm)

Many TV addicts had seen plenty of June Brown before 1985 when she landed the role which would change her life. She had popped up in episodes of Dixon of Dock Green, Coronation Street and Doctor Who. June might have been thinking about retiring in '85, but the role of EastEnders' Dot Cotton, or Dorothy Branning as some know her, gave her a new lease of life and inspired countless imitations. From her early days in theatre, to the reason she believes she was cast in the role of Dot, this documentary pays tribute to the actress as she celebrates her landmark birthday. Walford regulars Danny Dyer, Adam Woodyatt, Gillian Taylforth, Rudolph Walker, Lacey Turner and Natalie Cassidy add their thoughts on one of Blighty's best loved thespians.

This World: Russia's Football Factory (BBC2, 9pm)

Clashes between English and Russian supporters in Marseille shed light on Russian hooliganism at the 2016 European Championships. As some of the worst football violence witnessed at an international tournament, it raised major concerns ahead of countless fans travelling to Russia for next year's World Cup. Critically acclaimed film-maker Alex Stockley von Statzer travels to Russia to investigate how Russian police are carrying out new legislation which promises to get tough on trouble-makers.
