Piers Morgan's Life Stories (ITV, 9pm)

Following last week's well-publicised falling out with Ewan McGregor, whom he called a coward and a diva, Piers Morgan grills Nigel Farage. The politician recalls the road traffic accident he endured at 21; his battle with testicular cancer a year later, and surviving a plane crash seven years ago. Morgan also addresses Farage's two marriages; his working relationship with new American President Donald Trump, and since achieving his ultimate goal in the 2016 EU referendum, how his life has changed since stepping down as leader of UKIP.

Birds of Paradise: The Ultimate Quest (BBC2, 9pm)

Part one of two. Thirty years ago explorer Benedict Allen lived in Papua New Guinea with the Niowra, a remote people. Broadcast journalist Frank Gardner has always wished to see wild birds of paradise, so Benedict resolves to take him along. The duo set out through some of the most inhospitable terrain on the planet, negotiating swamps, mountains and crocodile-infested waters, heading into the cloud forest. Despite Frank requiring the use of a wheelchair following a shooting incident in 2004, Benedict determines to get him to their destination.

Tracey Ullman's Show (BBC1, 9.30pm)

New series. The start of a fresh run of comedy sketches featuring the talented entertainer, who made her name in the UK in the early 1980s before settling for some time in the United States. Delinquent Dame Judi Dench is back, but will being a National Treasure be enough to save her this time? Ambitious politician Nicola Sturgeon has her sights set on more than just Scotland, while there's a heartfelt song from German leader Angela Merkel. Plus, Ben Miller makes a guest appearance as media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
